Director and co founder of Edenbooth Ltd – since 2003

Jim trained as a Civil Engineer whilst working for Wimpey Construction, who he joined from school in 1979.  Whilst with Wimpey he was involved in many varied Civil Engineering projects in the UK.

When Jim moved to London he spent a spell with Laing O’Rourke at the time of their inception and specialised in Civil Engineering Groundworks.  Jim worked for a number of London based groundworks companies before forming Edenbooth in 2003.

Jim’s engineering background shows through, and he enjoys the challenge of complicated projects, often advising alternative solutions to ensure value engineering for the client.

Jim is keen on Rugby Union and played at amateur level until the age of 50.  Hobbies now include Motorsport, both spectating and partaking and is very fond of his classic 1960’s Mini Copper ‘S’ rally car.
